Empowering women in Africa strengthens the woman, as an individual, as well as her family and her community.

UADC’s focus on Education, Technology and Skill Development offers women opportunities to increase their income and broaden their outlook and opportunities for personal growth.

EDUCATION

Advocacy & Empowerment:

Access to Education leads to confidence and further accomplishment..

Girls that complete primary and secondary education are in the

best position to learn and grow.

Women who missed formal education can develop reading, writing,

and counting skills.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Educate communities about how empowering women and youth contributes to stronger families, more prosperity and healthier communities.

Encourage leaders to become champions of progress.

Help women launch businesses to create personal or family income.

Teach women about property and land ownership rights to protect their investment of time and money into their businesses and agriculture projects.

Identify local role models that will mentor women and girls to thrive, not just survive.

Technology & Connectivity

Provide technology and internet connectivity for education and business development.

Train women to use technology to unlock educational and employment opportunities.

Promote entrepreneurship

Community involvement through through economic development, mentoring.

Promote fairness, equality, and inclusion in communities

Promote cultural exchange through sister university programs, summer travel opportunities for students, speakers bureau for public schools, multi-media projects
